Blood tests are taken by our Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Please make a morning appointment as the hospital van collects samples at 2.30pm You may need to fast from 9.00pm the previous night for certain blood tests.

Please note, however, that cervical smear results can take up to six weeks and x-rays up to two weeks to arrive here at the surgery.

When telephoning the surgery for your results, please phone between 11.00am-12.00pm (to give time for the results to be processed by the GP). Please have your Personal Pin Number available, this must be provided to ensure confidentiality is maintained when requesting results over the telephone.
